Happy November!
EJ and I got to go on a Panera date JUST to go over our thoughts and ideas for Christmas. We have made an outline and I think that is the perfect description for it. It is only an outline. We realized that we don't want to be "scheduled" and feel obligated to do things or whatever. But, with this many people coming and for more than a week, we thought it'd be a good idea to have some general plan. We also thought that you can think about what you would like to do and come kind of having an idea. I wish all things were free, but they aren't. So you can also pick and choose based on your own budgets:) D.C. is not hard to get to and there's different ways to do it, ie: metro, etc.
EJ and I will be providing food for breakfast and lunch, you're welcome to pitch in if you can. We will also do the main Christmas meal and another meal or two. We're asking that each family also plan to do one meal.. It doesn't have to be a huge deal. It can be grilled cheese, spaghetti or whatever you want. You don't have to claim it now, unless you want to. We live really close to grocery stores so that won't be a problem. We're also asking that if we run low on milk or bread or basic things, people chip in to go out and get that. That would be helpful.
Saturday 22nd-Everyone is coming in at different times. Messiah starts at 8. We will provide lunch but everyone is on their own for dinner. Some may want to go out, eat in D.C. or whatever.
Sunday 23-We will do lunch after church, dinner is light.
